Staying in control

When it stops being fun

Problems rarely start with large amounts. They tend to start with small changes: an extra round, a later night, a bit of money borrowed "just this once". When the game begins to affect your mood, relationships or finances, it has moved beyond entertainment.

Tele-MANAS, listed further down this page, is free and open around the clock.

Practical limits

Treat the demo as a way to understand the rules, not as practice for winning. Pick a fixed number of rounds or minutes. Close the tab when you reach it. Most phones offer app and website time limits in their digital wellbeing or screen-time settings, which take the decision out of the moment.

Understanding the odds

Before each round, a provably fair random generator fixes the multiplier at which the plane flies away. Earlier rounds do not change it, and no system, app or signal can predict it. A round can end at 1.00x.

Spribe lists the game's RTP as 97%, which means that over a very large number of rounds, less comes back than is staked.

What the law says

Readers sometimes ask whether playing for money is allowed. Under the law now in force in India, online money games are prohibited, as are their promotion and the handling of payments for them. That is the position we write from. For your own circumstances, speak to a qualified lawyer, as we cannot give legal advice.

Support in India

If gaming is causing you stress or worry, you do not have to deal with it alone:

Talking to a family member or a friend you trust can also make a real difference.

If children share your devices

This site is for adults only, but phones and laptops are often shared. Built-in parental controls on Android, iPhone, Windows and macOS can restrict websites and set time limits for a child's profile. Keep devices locked with a PIN that children do not know. Saved card or UPI details on a shared phone are also worth removing.
